Registrar
Required for June 2010
A Registrar with high level ICT Skills and strong verbal and written skills in English is required by June 2010. Applicants should have a good track record of high level interpersonal skills and preferably previous experience as a school registrar.
Registrar's duties include.
- Supervise the induction process for new students and their families;
- To manage tours of the school for prospective families and company representatives;
- To manage and maintain (with the Headteacher) the school prospectus and admissions information;
- Liaise as necessary with student's previous schools to obtain record, assessments, reports and transfer letters;
- Manage the procedures for the invoicing and payment of school fees;
- Liaise with the Headteacher and members of the School Leadership Team about their assessment of prospective students for school placement.
- Process all correspondence appertaining to admissions as required, liaising closely with the Arabic Secretary;
- To be pro-active in the marketing of the school, particularly with corporate and company representatives and education fairs;
- To support the efficient running of the school by helping with general administrative, and secretarial duties as necessary;
- To report regularly to the Headteacher, CEO and ANC Group Financial Controller as to the status of the school role and income from fees;
- Liaison with ANC IT/Eureka Department to maintain Admissions Management System;
- Other duties as required by the Headteacher from time to time.

Teaching Assistant
Required from 18th April 2010
Teaching assistant required full time to commence with immediate effect.
Job description:
- Works under the guidance, instruction and supervision of the Class Teacher who sets tasks and duties which relate to teaching and learning on a day by day basis. The Assistant Headteacher has overall responsibility for the Classroom Assistant's work and performance;
Provides curricular support, for example in Literacy and Numeracy sessions;
Provides support for teaching staff, for example performing routine tasks such as escorting groups of children around the school, assisting with clerical work;

Helps to prepare teaching materials and classroom display;

Assists in the teaching of individuals, groups and classes of pupils;

Is closely involved in the pastoral care of pupils in the class. In practice this will require supervision and guidance in the areas of behaviour, personal and social welfare and relationships between individual pupils and within groups of pupils;

Contributes, as required by the Class Teacher, to the assessment of pupils and reporting pupil performance and progress to parents;

Refers parental concerns to the class teacher;

Supervises pupils at break and at lunchtimes according to the duty rota and at other times during the school day as required by the Class Teacher to whom she/he has been assigned or by the Assistant Headteacher;

Assists with the organisation and supervision of extra-curricular activities. As far as possible this involvement will reflect and take account of the skills, interests and aptitudes of the Classroom Assistant and her/his commitments elsewhere;

Attends staff meetings when required and takes part in staff INSET sessions;

Applicants should have good academic achievement;

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;

To be able to offer practical support in teaching and learning including ICT;

To have a knowledge and understanding for the National Curriculum for England.
