Monday 28th November Year 4 Boys – Star International vs. Kings Dubai
On Monday, 28th November, the Year 4 Kings’ Dubai Football team played Star International. The game kicked off at 3:15pm in a 6-a-side league match. We kicked off the first half in a close game, Marius and Harrison had to defend very closely to protect Jack G in goal, but we counter-attacked with Oscar in Midfield and Sam Mull and John playing up front together. Before long, we were awarded a corner, Sam crossed it to John who tapped it home. The first half was very even, one end to the other. On as sub came Oliver D for the 2nd half, Star broke through our defence and had a great chance to score – one on one with the keeper (Jack), but Jack made a solid tackle with his feet. Jack’s kicks were great today! A few minutes later, Sam placed a through ball for Oliver, who scored with power making in 2-0 to Kings!
