Parents of Year 5 children.
Regrettably the Year 5 residential visit to Kalba has been cancelled due to severe weather warnings. Green Turtle Adventures have just informed the school. The weather poses potential serious safety risks particularly flooding and as such the decision has been necessary, although isn't one that has been made lightly.
At this stage we cannot give any further information however a representative from Green Turtle will be coming into school tomorrow to discuss alternatives and possible re- scheduling. Should any decision be taken for activities to take place on Wednesday and Thursday you will be informed before 2.30pm tomorrow.
Apologies to all children who will be bitterly disappointed, but Kings' will not compromise on safety and hope you can understand and support the decision that has been made. Children should arrive for school tomorrow as normal wearing school uniform.
