WEEKLY NEWS

Issue 5 WB 6th June 2010

Dear Parents,

FOUNDATION STAGE PERFORMANCES

Congratulations to all of the Foundation children who took part in their performances recently.

This year is the first time we have performed two separate performances in the Foundation stage and the standard of them was simply outstanding. FS1 delighted us with their version of the story ‘Walking through the Jungle'.

FS2 then very ambitiously but very successfully produced their version of the classic tale of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk'. Well done and thank you to all who supported with costumes.

YEAR 4, 5, 6 PRODUCTION: RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET.

Rehearsals are underway for the end of year performances from our Y4, 5 and 6 children. Thankyou in advance to parents for their efforts with costumes and props.

The original concert dates unfortunately clash with one of the England Football matches in the World Cup on the 23rd June. By popular demand from pupils, parents and teachers we have altered the performance times to accommodate this. Please note the new performance times are as follows:

Tuesday 22nd June:  Performances at 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.

Tickets for the two performances are available from Reception. Unfortunately tickets will be limited initially to two per family with names added to a waitlist which will be allocated if available.

CASH PAYMENTS

If you need to make a payment in school for trips, music tuition, events etc for AED 50 and above, please ensure you wait to collect a receipt.  Mrs Mansell and Mrs Dale will issue a receipt as proof of money received.
