A warm welcome to all of those families
who are new to Kings’ and to those returning for the new school year 2013/14.
I would like us all just to pause for a
few moments and to look back at the enormous task Kings' undertook last year during
the expansion of our school. I know none of this would have been possible
without the determination, belief and incredible teamwork of all those
individuals involved. This year as we reach our capacity of students we are
delighted to welcome more new teachers and support staff to compliment the
I am personally touched by the positive
response I have received from many parents over the last twelve months who have
given us their absolute and unwavering support and their belief in our mission
to expand Kings' Dubai so successfully in record breaking time. I have been
inundated with kind letters and cards full of wonderful words of
congratulations and best wishes that have been most moving.
I wish the Head Teachers and Senior
Leader of Kings’, all of the teachers and support staff the very best as we
begin the second exciting year of our larger school. It is the exceptional
skills base of my staff and the quality of teaching and professionalism that
gives us the confidence to expand further with our new schools programme.
Future Kings’ School Projects
I now look forward with Mr. Stedman,
Chief Education Officer and the Kings’ executive team to the commencement of
our next two major projects: Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba with phase one opening in September 2014 and Kings’ School Al Barsha,
opening from Foundation Stage to Year 9 in September 2014. My appreciation
also goes out to the KHDA for their valued support of developments at Kings’
Dubai and the process of approvals for our new schools.
My aim is to offer a seamless education
to Kings’ students within a first class environment delivering the individual
care and attention each child deserves,
“The best by every child.”
Come and join us this Thursday 12th December for our Festive Cracker performance. The children from Years 1-6 will be performing on the field.
