Chairman’s Message to Parents

September 2012

Welcome to each and every individual at Kings' as we begin an exciting new chapter in our school's history, with the proud opening of our second school building.

I would like us all just to pause for a few moments and to look back at the enormous task Kings' undertook just four and a half months ago and to realise what has been achieved. I know none of this would have been possible without the determination, belief and incredible team work of all those individuals involved.

May I take this opportunity to thank everyone at ANC Holdings in delivering and fulfilling my promise to the parents and children to be ready for the beginning of the new school year. I can now admit this was no easy task despite my public confidence! My appreciation also goes out to the KHDA for their valued support.

I am personally touched by all the parents who have given us their absolute unwavering support and their belief in our mission to expand Kings' in this record breaking time. I have been inundated with kind letters and cards full of wonderful words of congratulations and best wishes which have been most moving.

I wish the management of Kings' and all the teachers and support staff the very best as we begin this new term. It is with their highly skilled teaching and professionalism that gives us the confidence to expand further.

My priority has of course been the classrooms and a safe, comfortable environment for the children. It has been heartening this past week to see learning taking place in the new building and students so happy in their surroundings.

Over the next month or so the extended school grounds will be transformed as planned offering the extended play and sports facilities as promised in time for the seasonal outdoor activities.

Future Kings’ School Projects

I now look forward with Mr. Stedman to the commencement of our next two major projects: Kings’ Nad Al Sheba with phase one opening in September 2013 and Kings’ Hadeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Gardens (Al Barsha South) with phase one opening in September 2014.

For those parents who are new to us, both of these schools, once complete will offer high quality, world class education for young people in their first year of life to the age of 18. Each will have a bespoke Early Years Centre, 4 form entry Primary School and 8 form entry Secondary School with Sixth Form.

Phase one for each school will open with Foundation Stage one to year 9 with subsequent secondary years and the Early Years Centres opening respectively in phases 2 and 3.

My aim is to offer a seamless education to Kings’ students within a first class environment delivering the individual care and attention each child deserves.
